Bistro Campagne in Lincoln Square in Chicago. It’s an amazing French bistro, with great food at great prices. I highly recommend the chicken (seems boring, but it’s not), which is smothered in a wonderful mushroom sauce and topped with a bunch of onion strings. It is truly awesome!
Another good one is Mon Ami Gabi. It’s part of the Lettuce Entertain You family of restaurants. It’s incredibly cheap and it’s very good food. The Steak Roquefort is excellent. I get it every time. They always cook it perfect and it comes with a side of frites, which when mixed together with the steak juices, tastes delightful!
